Would you believe I’ve had this post in my drafts since March? I’ve even had to photos prepped for editing for a while. I don’t know why I’ve put it off for so long so I am making myself write this up while Ryder naps. Now on to the topic – small bathroom organization!
Scott, Ryder, and I share a small bathroom so storage space is basically non-existent. It is a single-sink bathroom so the only place to store things under the sink with the pipes in the way. A few years after living here, we added an over-the-toilet cabinet which was quickly packed to the brim with my makeup and first aid kit supplies. We had no place for my ever-growing hair product collection or anything that Scott brought to the mix so a few months ago I raided Target for a shower caddy and some under-the-sink storage containers. Since nothing with a suction cup sticks to our tub, I opted for a three-tier basket stand that lives right outside the shower. All of our shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and body washes live there and the baskets are all removable so you can really keep this anywhere in the bathroom and bring just one basket filled with your goodies to the shower!
For under the sink, I picked out two Under Vanity 2 Tier Storage Rack. They slide out from their frame, making getting things in the back of containers a breeze! One side has my personal hygiene products, q-tips, bath soaks, and face lotions while the other size has all my hair dye essentials and too many beauty products. What’s a girl to do? Scott does have a few things in there, by the way! Haha
Not pictured, but we also have an area for me to hang my hot tools that chills out on our towel rack and an old desk pencil container that holds Scott’s razor and my combs and brushes. Finding a place for everything in our small bathroom reduces clutter and helps me find things in a hurry because, let’s be real, I’m always running late. Every little thing helps!
Do you have any small bathroom organization tips? I’d love to hear them!
