Ryder turned 3 over a month ago but he hit the Threenager attitude about two months prior. Anyone with older kids is likely shaking their heads right now, remembering those distant-seeming days. The defiance and boundary-pushing are strong with this one. He is stubborn like both his parents!
Back to Ryder’s birthday. We decided Ryder was finally old enough to enjoy having his friends at a party so we held his party at the local kids’ museum, Marbles. It was a blast for the kids and we didn’t have to do a thing aside from showing up. Seriously, they decorate, bring the food and cake, hold activities for the kids, and clean up! It was magical and worry-free. Ryder and all his friends also got access to the museum all day so after the party, Ryder spent almost an hour running around. If you are local with little ones, I cannot recommend Marbles enough for birthday parties!
I originally planned on bringing my Canon DSLR but ultimately decided I wanted to be more present and not worry so much about getting the perfect shot so these aren’t the best but whatever!
